Position Summary

An opportunity exists for an enthusiastic and experienced musculoskeletal physiotherapist to join our friendly and dynamic team at Community Based Rehabilitation. Community Based Rehabilitation provides collaborative and coordinated rehabilitation services within the division of Chronic and Complex Care.  Rehabilitation care is provided via a patient-centred, innovative, blended model involving centre-based, home-based and telehealth sessions.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to further develop their clinical leadership skills as they supervise rotating Grade 1 Physiotherapists and Allied Health Assistants, manage service portfolios and become involved in our physiotherapy teaching program. This is a full-time, temporary position that is well supported and has ongoing professional development.

To be Successful in this Role you will need:

  • Demonstrated experience in assessing and managing clients with a variety of acute and chronic musculoskeletal conditions
  • Excellent clinical and organisation skills
  • Experience working in multidisciplinary teams
  • Experience in supervising grade 1 staff and / or Allied Health Assistants or physiotherapy students
  • Experience in quality improvement and/or research
  • Experience or ability to quickly develop skills in delivering patient care via telehealth (Health Direct platform)
