About the Role
Seeking a motivated Grade 2 Dispensary Pharmacist with excellent clinical, dispensary and interpersonal skills that demonstrate a willingness to develop and maintain their knowledge, to work in the Sunshine Hospital Pharmacy Department
- Permanent, full time 80 hours per fortnight available from 1st March 2019
- Contribute to the decisions that shape our health service
- Co-ordinate and provide dispensing services to patients and clients of Western Health
- Assist the Dispensary Manager in the provision and co-ordination of dispensing services from the main dispensary and the Joan Kirner Women's and Children's Hospital Satellite

Duties
- Co-ordinate the provision of dispensing services under the guidance of the Dispensary Manager, in accordance to SHPA standards of practice and legislative requirements
- Liaise with other health professionals to maximise patient outcomes in relation to drug therapy
- Recording and reporting on Pharmacy Key Performace Indicators
- Document Pharmacy Interventions
- Participate in teaching and mentoring of pharmacy pre-registrants and undergraduate students.
Skills & Experience
- Bachelor of Pharmacy or equivalent.
- Eligible for general registration with AHPRA.
- Experience in co-ordinating dispensary activities
- Ability to employ information technology applications at a high level to improve service provision.
