About the Role
The Division of Quality, Safety and the Patient Experience is looking for a motivated and dynamic individual to join the Patient Representative team for a short term period - 20/8/2018 to 24/11/2018. The successful applicant will be backfilling a period of long service leave.
The Patient Representative team are the primary liaison group between, patients and the health service at Western Health. The Patient Representative Team manages the patient/consumer feedback system at Western Health.
Duties
The successful applicant will be required to;
- Take phone calls from patients who would like to provide feedback to the health service.
- Correspond with patient who provide the health service with feedback via e-mail.
- Coordinate responses to patient complaints, where possible resolving the issue of the patient.
- Use the feedback module of the Victorian Health Incident Management System (VHIMS) system to manage all feedback from patients.
Skills & Experience
The successful candidate will possess:
- Excellent communication skills.
- A significant understanding of the operational workings of a large metropolitan health service.
- Excellent time management and the ability to work with autonomy.
