About the Role

Seeking a motivated Grade 1 Pharmacist with excellent clinical, dispensary and interpersonal skills that demonstrates a willingness to develop and maintain their knowledge, to work in the Footscray Hospital Pharmacy Department

  • Permanent, full time 80 hours per fortnight available from 1st March 2019
  • Contribute to the decisions that shape our health service
  • Provide dispensing and clinical services to patients and clients of Western Health  
  • Support of the dispensary manager and clinical co-ordinator 

An excellent opportunity for a driven and enthusiastic Pharmacist to join the Pharmacy team.

Duties

  • To ensure patient outcomes are optimized by working with other health professionals to deliver the best Quality Use of Medicines.
  • Providing clinical and dispensing services in accordance to SHPA standards of practice and legislative requirements.
  • Participate in teaching and mentoring of pharmacy pre-registrants and undergraduate students. 

Skills & Experience

  • Bachelor of Pharmacy or equivalent.
  • Eligible for general registration with AHPRA.
  • Experience in providing clinical pharmacy services to a broad range of specialty areas.
