Position Summary |
The role is designed for a highly motivated Clinical Nurse Educator with post graduate Neonatal Intensive Care qualifications (or equivalent) who is keen to work in an education team to assist the Western Health Newborn Services Unit deliver Level 6A neonatal capability.
You would be responsible for supporting and developing the Post-graduate students in Newborn Services at Western Health and during their NICU rotation at The Women's Hospital.
To be Successful within this role
- Registered Nurse and or Registered Midwife – APHRA registered
- Post Graduate Neonatal Nursing qualification or equivalent
- Postgraduate Education qualifications - equivalent or working towards
- Have demonstrated skills and abilities in utilising contemporary education strategies based on adult learning principles to support staff development
- Demonstrated ability to plan, prioritise and time manage.
- Demonstrated experience in working effectively and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
- Demonstrated excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Well-developed written and electronic communication skills including policies, procedures and guidelines.
- Flexible approach to problem solving
