About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Emergency Nurse with experience in Clinical Education to join our dynamic team of educators in the ED at Footscray Hospital, to cover a period of Maternity Leave from 23nd December 2019 to 4th January 2021.

 This is a great opportunity if you are interested for a career in education and want to test the waters. For this role you will need excellent clinical skills and ED experience, and the ability to communicate effectively and provide feedback to staff and students about their performance. The role encompasses support to ED staff, including graduate nurses, discovery and post-graduate students.

Essential to this role is a minimum of 4 years’ experience in ED with a Post-Graduate qualification in either Emergency Nursing or Critical Care Nursing. A Post-Graduate qualification in education or Certificate IV in Training and Assessment is highly desirable for this role.
