We are seeking to employ an appropriately qualified and clinically experienced Consultant Physician (FRACP/FACHAM) to provide specialist medical services for the clients of Drug Health Services and both inpatients and outpatients of Footscray Hospital who have addiction related medical problems.

The position also requires participation in educational activities such as journal club and Grand Rounds,  as well as the provision of supervision for the Intern and Registrar in the Addiction Medicine team. Importantly, much of the position will also involve consultation for the metropolitan and rural pharmacotherapy networks (as directed by Head of Unit Addiction Medicine &/or the Director of Drug Health Services). The candidate will also be required to participate in the after hour’s roster for Consultant Addiction Medicine Hospital cover.
