Your Role (Multiple Positions Available)
You will work with a high level of autonomy and responsibility across the maternity continuum from antenatal bookings through to birth and home-based postnatal visits, with further opportunities to participate in day-stay pregnancy monitoring, specialist clinics and lactation support.
Our ideal candidates will have:
- Registration as Midwife with AHPRA
- Enthusiasm to work collaboratively as part of a multi-disciplinary care model
- Experience across the scope of care and Midwifery Group Practice
- Great communication skills
- Most importantly, a commitment to high quality, safe and person centred patient care!
Our Organisation

The Jan Kirner Women's and Children's (JKWC) service will include 20 labour delivery rooms, brand new NICU cots, 39 SCN cots, 64 women’s inpatient beds, 32 children’s inpatient beds, 4 operating theatres, 4 beautiful birth pools and additional outpatient clinics. There are opportunities to work part time, full time or casually across the full scope of practice. In addition we offer support to develop clinical knowledge and skills or undertake research with key academic partners.
