To be successful for this role you will meet the following:

  • Minimum 2 year’s full-time or equivalent experience as a Registered Nurse with experience and knowledge in Neonatal Services.
  • Possess excellent Clinical Skills. 
  • A commitment to high quality, safe person-centred care. 
  • A Postgraduate in Neonatal Nursing is highly desirable.

An exciting opportunity exists for permanent Registered Nurse positions in Newborn Services.

As a member of the health care team, the Registered Nurse is at the forefront of the provision of high quality nursing care to patients on a day-to-day basis and specialise in Newborn Care. With the new Joan Kirner Women’s and Children’s (JKWC) service, become part of the expanding and leading edge Western Health Woman & Children’s Newborn Services team. To be Successful in this role you

  • Recent post qualification experience in neonatal intensive care  
  • Must enjoy and thrive in a team environment
  • Will need a post graduate qualification in Neonatal Intensive Care (or equivalent)
  • Will need a positive and flexible approach to working in a dynamic environment
  • Will need excellent communication skills and ability to perform to high standards as part of a great multidisciplinary team

$67,527.20 - $95,378.40 based on Experience per Nurses and Midwives (Victorian Public Health Sector) (single Interest Employers) Enterprise Agreement 2020-2024.’
